So Many Things to Update…

Maxwell turned one on April 11, 2010. There was so much planning and preparation that went into this event. I want to hold off on the actual party details because my friend Justine, of J. Shelton Photography, took many pictures. We should be getting the disk soon. I cannot wait to show you the amount of work that went into this amazing get together.
But for now, here are a few other happenings:

• Words, we have them…(just a few). Max is saying:

1. Es (Yes)

2. Hi

3. Daddy

4. Ishy (fishy)

and that is it. No mommy/mama. He refuses. Hopefully that will be the next word on the horizon, but me thinks it will be “doggy”. Sigh…

• Max is drinking milk like a champ now. He is more interested in milk than in food.
• We have started the weaning process. It is really hard. He cannot let go of that early morning one, nor can he phase out the nighttime one. I have a feeling that the night time one will be the last one to go.
• He has started standing, for small periods, by himself. Once he realizes that he isn’t holding onto anything, he immediately lets go, but he is doing it!

This is such and exciting time in our lives. It is so fun watching our little man grow up.
